OIL SPILL - Gear oil spill at HACARMEL quay in Haifa port - June 2016
Due to a malfunction, oil spilled from a container at the Carmel Haifa Bay, and through the drainage system the oil drained into the sea. Maagan Marine & Diving Works, which is responsible to respond to marine pollution in the Haifa port is currently performing cleaning , containment and treatment of leaked material.
