Project Overview
The project "Reconstruction and rehabilitation of docks 1-6" at Haifa port, consists of rehabilitating docks 1-4 with an approximate length of 600 meters, and reconstruction of docks 5-6 with an approximate length of 180 meters. docks 1-4 were constructed on top of different widths and sizes seafloor based concrete blocks, whereas docks 5-6 were built on top of piles. Docks 5 through 6 were renovated several times over the years, but after careful review, it became clear that the existing piles were damaged and are not suitable for the new dock. Therefore, docks 5-6 requiere a complete reconstruction and not rehabilitation.

- Rehabilitation of the concrete of the capping beam.
- Rehabilitation of the concrete on the top side of the capping beam.
- Treatment of existing expansion seams.
- Supply and installation of fenders and hanging systems.
- Rehabilitation and replacement of bollards.
- Stabilization of the seabe alongside the dock wall.
- Dock pavement rehabilitation.
- Supply and installation of ladders.
Main elements of the project docks 5-6
- Dismantling of the existing dock plate and piles.
- driving new steel pipe sleeves and re-casting of piles after drilling.
- Preperation of rear side piles.
- Installation of permanent ground anchors.
- Casting of new dock platform plate.
- Supply and installation of fenders and hanging systems.
- Rehabilitation and replacement of bollards.
- Treatment of existing expansion seams.
- Installation of a new water line.
- Installation of interlocking paving stones on the new upper platform.
