(IPC)<\/p>\n<h4><strong>Project Overview<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>The project \"Construction of Chemical Terminal One and Two in Haifa Port\" required the construction of a new pier in the length of 245 meters, to replace the existing pier which was built 40 years ago.<br \/>\nThe new pier was built to a depth of 11 meters.<br \/>\nWorking conditions within this project were extremely complex, as throughout the project, half of the pier remained active. This required extreme precaution to avoid any damages to operating vessels.<\/p>\n<h4><strong>Main elements of the project<\/strong><\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>Construcring a 245 meters long dock with a depth of 11 meters.<\/li>\n<li>Combination wall in the length of 28.5m.<\/li>\n<li>Supply and installation of sea anchors with double protection (35m in length) by SHTUMP.<\/li>\n<li>Casting front beam from 2.4m t0 -0.6m.<\/li>\n<li>Supply and installation of fenders.<\/li>\n<li>Supply and installation of anodes.<\/li>\n<li>Bridge pipeline reinforcement by drilling piles and casting concrete connection beam.<\/li>\n<li>Dredging with the volume of 50,000 cubic meters.<\/li>\n<li>Sand filling works.<\/li>\n<li>Vibro-floatation works.<\/li>\n<li>Metal and pipeline works.<\/li>\n<li>Earth works.<\/li>\n<li>Asphalt works.<\/li>\n<li>Underwater welding.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Ordered by Israel Port Development &amp; Assets Company ltd.
