(PEI)<\/p>\n<h4><strong>Project Overview<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>The project required the fabrication, delivery and driving of four 20 meters long piles for the purpose of replacing an underwater fuel line in vicinity of the gulf of Haifa in Israel. The project was executed by a vibrational hammer type PVE 50M, held by a floating barge crane, with a quadruple anchoring system. Certified surface supplied divers were deployed to ensure the proper and accurate positioning of the piles into the cradle. The piles were driven 10-11 meters into the seabed, penetrating a 4 meters of gravel rock.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h4><strong>Main elements of the project<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>\u2022 Fabrication of 4 piles in a diameter of 24\u201d, 19mm thickness, and 20 meters long.<br \/>\n\u2022 Welding an additional 11m extender to enable underwater driving.<br \/>\n\u2022 Loading of piles to a barge and transportation to location<br \/>\n\u2022 Driving in a water depth of 18-20m<br \/>\n\u2022 Surface supplied diving<br \/>\n\u2022 Underwater cutting of excess pile sections<br \/>\n\u2022 Underwater video survey of work<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Ordered by: Petroleum &amp; Energy Infrastructures Ltd.
