Work is being executed by the use of hollow bar Micropiles(aka \"Minipiles\") to reinforce the structure foundations.<br \/>\nWork is being executed by drilling holes by the use of a diamond core drilling rig, grouting under the foundations, drilling piles by the use of a hollow spiral drill rods, and installation of 53mm DYWIDAG Tie Rods.<br \/>\nWorks are being executed within the passenger hall with unique equipment, while retaining the DUTYFREE normal operation, at areas where work height reaches up-to 2.5 meters - this without harming existing infrastructure.<br \/>\nGrouting the pier seaside from within the structure by injecting grout through tubes up-to 10 meters deep.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h4><strong>Main elements of the project<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>\u2022 Protecting and creating a separation within the passenger terminal hall, which allows work to be executed without disrupting day to day operations.<br \/>\n\u2022 Grouting the pier wall cavities by driving steel pipes to the ground, at depths of up to 10m from within the passenger terminal in order to create an underground barrier wall.<br \/>\n\u2022 Dismantling of floors, Gypsum columns, and various facilities in areas of soil stabilization.<br \/>\n\u2022 Drilling 8\" by 1.5m depth holes by the use of diamond core drilling rig for the foundations.<br \/>\n\u2022 Drilling piles 14m deep through the foundations by the use of a hollow spiral.<br \/>\n\u2022 Reinforcing the pile by the use of a 53mm DYWIDAG Tie Rods in areas where the ceiling height is up-to 2.5m.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Ordered By Israel Port Development &amp; Assets Company ltd.
