The salvage was done by professional divers of Maagan that conducted surface supply diving from MAAGAN's floating crane.<br \/>\nThe ship was cut under water, to smaller pieces which were in the weight of 20ton \u2013 80ton which were then lifted with the David floating crane and were transferred to the shore by flat top barges<\/p>\n<h4><strong>Main elements of the project<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>\u2022 Mobilize Floating cranes and flat top barges.<br \/>\n\u2022 Conduct a survey to locate all the parts of the ship<br \/>\n\u2022 Perform underwater cutting to specified requirements to enable the removal of the wrecked ship<br \/>\n\u2022 Provide environmental protection against debris and oils.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Project Overview The project entails the salvage of the \u201cShelly\u201d ship that sunk at entrance of Haifa port in water depth of 24m.
