(PEI) PLEM at Haifa port.<\/p>\n<p>Before\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/maagan-marine.com\/en\/projects\/2572\/\">offloading any material at the PLEM by the arriving tanke<\/a>r, Maagan conducts a pressure test at the PLEM. The test consists of opening the 12\" taps which is safe guarded by a safety screw, and performing a pressure test for 50 minutes to test liquidity and flow of the fuel line. During the test the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/maagan-marine.com\/en\/diving-works-salvage\/\">divers<\/a>\u00a0scans the two flexible hoses (Western hose &amp; Eastern hose) to identify if there is an existing leak. At the end of the test, divers close valves by closing the safety screws.<\/p>\n<p>When the tanker begins unloading, divers manually open the fuel flow taps at the tanker terminal to allow flow, and close the taps at the end of the process.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Maagan is the contractor responsible for the ongoing maintenance of the\u00a0Petroleum &amp; Energy Infrastructures Ltd.
