Project Overview
The Project "Construction of new marine department basin in Haifa port" requiered a construction of a new key in the length of 175 meters by the use of a 25 meters long combination wall; type AZ-48. Also, a 150 meters long pier was constructed ontop of steel and concrete piles.
Main elements of the project
- Constracting of 175m of key wall from sheet pile AZ-48.
- Supply and driving of AZ-48 piles with the length of 22m.
- Installing of tie rods for anchoring 25m long.
- Driving of RV piles for anchoring into the old breakwater.
- Marine dredging .
- Land reclamation.
- Salvage of old vessels in the basin.
- Infrastructure works including electricity, water, fuel, west water etc.
- Concrete work for capping beam.
