Project Overview:
The Project "Reconstruction of Key C" consists of the rehabilitation of the existing key between the Kishon pier and pier B of at the Israel shypyard, to enable the docking of ships. A reinforcment will be done by the use of front end combination wall which will be anchored to a rear combination wall in two sections with a total length of 100 meters, out of the pier total length of 230 meters. The first section in the length of 60 meters is located on the south side of the key (aprox. 21 meters from the Kishon east pier), and the second section in the length of 40 meters located on the north side of the key. Furthermore, sheet piles in the length of 24 meters have been driven throughout the remaining section of 130 meters as the base for the construction for the and casting of the capping beam which will be constructed throughout the entire 230 meter section. The scope of work includes: Supply and installation of fenders, bollards, ladders, cathodic protection,water and drainage systems.
Main elements of the project
- Supply and driving of front sheet-pile wall in the length of 100 meters.
- Supply and driving of back anchoring sheet-pile wall in the length of 100 meters.
- Supply and installation of anchors.
- Casting of capping beam along 230 meters including underwater casting.
- Supply and installation of fenders.
- Supply and installation of cathodic protection.
- infrastructure works (drainage systems, earth wireing, and others)
